Luke Turrell (aged 18) performs 3 movements from Hindemith Solo Sonata Op.25. July 2007
I started teaching my son the viola at the age of 5. His first instrument was a ¼ size violin set up with viola strings. At age 9 he achieved an award for the highest mark in country for his grade 7 viola exam. It was not until age 10 before he progressed onto a proper viola. At age 11 he won a scholarship to the Yehudi Menuhin School and now aged 20 is currently studying in Berlin.
